1. The Enigma Variations - 2 Volumes

This book deals chronologically and semi-autobiographically with my gradual progression from conventional scientist to a researcher into the paranormal as I encountered more and more evidence of things that, as a conventional scientist, I could not explain. The break-up of my marriage caused me to meet a Spiritualist medium who told me things that rationally he had no way of knowing. My long dormant interest in Egypt was reawakened and I met a woman, through her Egyptian painting business, who was to become my wife. Then this woman, who had no psychic experiences before, became a medium, totally spontaneously, and over three weeks gave the life story of Akhenaten’s daughter....

The book moves on through the emergence of the theme of Coincidence and the Lockerbie disaster, the Gulf War, my various jobs which interlinked through the coincidences. Later we moved to New Zealand, only because of curious signs and coincidences, but then strange meaningful coincidences increased apace. There was a theme of destiny repeated again and again.

This book contains brief accounts of many key experiences over fifteen years’ research. Many of the elements are covered more completely in the other books. But the purpose of this book is to give an overall picture of the inter-relation of the various themes of the research.

Ultimately, we are meant to draw conclusions from the things that happen to us in this world. We should learn whilst we have the chance. For we have one chance only. Then it is gone forever and our fate is sealed. It is in our own hands whilst we live in this world. Then as James Russell Lowell said ‘then the choice goes by forever....’

We are not here to consume, nor is the purpose of life ‘to be happy’. We are certainly not here to ‘get what we can’. The cosy, materialist, self-satisfying lifestyle of the West which is aspired to by so many now in the rest of the world thanks mainly to Hollywood, is ultimately an empty charade. The book explains the very specific warnings in the world around us which have become ever clearer and stronger over the years from 1986 onwards. This book will help you to understand the Enigma Code of Destiny.

You can look afresh at the coincidences that happen in your own life. Or do you prefer to be an ostrich-like skeptic and shelter under the umbrella that there is nothing but ‘chance’? It may be comforting to those so-called scientists who have dedicated themselves to this world view. It is certainly a cop-out because conventional science can give no alternative explanations. Chance is not a rational explanation for the many interconnected experiences which I describe. We are not here by chance. We are here by design. So why not try to understand the Designer's purpose?

Vol. 1 - Mary, Daughter of Elohim

This is the story of Mary Magdalen and the man upon whom one of the world’s great faiths came to be based. Jenny acted, in effect, as a trance medium and Mary Magdalen spoke through her. This experience occurred in April/May 1986 when we were living in the remote hills of North Wales overlooking the waters of Liverpool Bay. In many ways, the wild hills of North Wales were akin to the hills of Galilee overlooking the lake of which Mary often spoke. This book sheds a rather different light on many biblical matters, both New Testament and Old.

Mary’s story does not fully agree with any one of the four Gospels, but then, in so many instances, the four Gospels contradict each other. The difference is that Mary’s story is that of a genuine eyewitness.

One thing which is especially notable in the Old Testament is that sometimes the reference is to ‘Lord’ and sometimes to ‘God’, sometimes to ‘Lord God’. These translations reflect the different words used in the original Hebrew and no doubt the differing origins of various original texts. The question which Mary’s story raises is whether the two names for god, Elohim and Jehovah, are really not two names for the same God, but names for two very different gods which have been fused together over time in a  jumbled series of documents.

Over the centuries, many thinking people have been disturbed that the nature of God portrayed in the Old Testament is at time partisan, at other times downright evil. Parts of the Pentateuch are particularly bad, and Joshua must surely be the worst book in the Bible. Mary’s book gives a glimmer of whence these erroneous concepts of God arose.

Mary’s story was the first story to be given to us. Ankhsoun’s story came a little later (See Ankhsoun, Daughter of Ra). Ankhsoun’s story can be corroborated from evidence from her time which still survives to this day, some of which Egyptologists have never yet been able to satisfactorily explain. Perhaps this is another reason why Tutankhamun’s tomb was intended to survive to this era. It helps to authenticate Ankhsoun’s story and in turn her  story and the Web of Destiny help to authenticate Mary’s story.

The book also presents  evidence to enable an answer to be given to the question of what happens to us when we die. The conclusion, that will surprise many, is that the people who were closest to the truth were probably the ancient Egyptians. The texts in the Pyramid of Unas contain a not-dissimilar message from that which emerges from Mary's story and the events which have occurred in our own lives over a dozen years since.  Even mediaeval man, with his Mystery Plays, would appear to be a lot closer to the truth than is modern man with his ever so liberal  and ever more flexible theology - or no theology at all.

But the story of Mary Magdalen which has been told to us is very different from that hypothesised in The Da Vinci Code. But there are very many strange parallels between events in that novel and our own experiences which stretch over nearly two decades. Why are these apparent elements of inspiration there? There is little to directly authenticate Mary’s story, just as there is little to externally authenticate the accounts of the four Gospel writers, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.  But her word have been externally authenticated by circumstantial evidence of a novel and powerful kind as is explained below.

Evidence that Mary’s story is true also lies in the prophetic knowledge exhibited by the ‘Source of Intelligence’ in the weeks before the Lockerbie air disaster, the Mecca tunnel disaster, the first Gulf War and Princess Diana’s death. Volume 1 - Ankhsoun, Daughter of Ra

The is the poignant autobiography of Pharaoh’s daughter, Ankhsoun-pa-Aten, wife of that most famous of pharaohs, Tutankhamun. This book fills in many gaps in a fascinating period which has confused Egyptologists for well over a century. It seems that the older Victorian ideas that her father, Akhenaten, was a forerunner of Christ are closer to the truth than the fashionable modern theories that he was a power-seeking madman, notable for his sexual deviance. Perhaps the theories reflect more of the nature of their age than of their supposed subject.

This book is based on our unique personal experiences. Jenny and I appear to have been drawn together by some mysterious force linking us both back to Ancient Egypt. I have long felt unaccountably drawn to Egypt but had never been to Egypt. Jenny had lived there for a year and had developed a business selling Egyptian art in Britain. I found out about her from a magazine advertisement and went to see her to try to get a painting from the Akhenaten period. Instead, I got the story of Akhenaten - and, by chance, I also got a new wife.

I was helping Jenny develop her business. One day, 8th June 1986, Jenny drifted into a sleep which turned out to be a trance. The woman who spoke was not Jenny. It was the voice of a woman from long go. It was the voice of Ankhsoun, daughter of ‘the Heretic’ himself (as Akhenaten was described by the priests of the false god Amun)

Over the next three weeks in June 1986, Ankhsoun ‘came’ at all sorts of times of day and night and always in places associated with kings and queens - Chelsea, Brighton and Paris. Sometimes, when excited or frightened, she would lapse into Egyptian.....  Over the subsequent months, I researched the period. This is the basis of the explanatory footnotes in the book. How many books are researched after being written?  But this is a most unusual book - in more ways than one!  My researches convinced me that this was indeed the spirit of the woman she claimed to be.

Ankhsoun-pa-Aten, who became the wife of Tutankhamun, was the daughter of the ‘heretic’ pharaoh, Akhenaten and his foreign queen, Nefertiti. Ankhsoun somehow is able to speak across time, linking mind to mind. Who was the mysterious pharaoh who reigned with Akhenaten? What lay behind the mask of Tutankhamun? And what happened to Akhenaten? So many Egyptologists have speculated for so long over the Amarna period.  Now Ankhsoun tells what really happened. It is a tale of beauty, love, heartache and cruelty. But make no mistake, this is no novel. This is a true story.  It needs no Hollywood additions to add interest or excitement.

She talks lovingly of her father and his work, his belief in Aten-Ra, which was his name for God. She tells of her father’s death and secret burial. She tells of her marriage and its disappointment, the sudden death of Tutankhamun and the terror that she knew, first with Ay, the next husband she was forced to marry and, finally, at the hands of the Priests of Amun.

Volume 2 - The Hand of Destiny

This book describes the many curious omens and events surrounding the discovery of Tutankhamun= s tomb in 1922 and the strange coincidences in our own lives, linking us to the tomb itself. It describes our many experiences on our visits to Egypt between 1986 and 1993, visits which both authenticated Ankhsoun= s story and embedded it firmly in the events of the modern world, specifically the Lockerbie air disaster of 1988, the Mecca tunnel disaster of 1990 and Princess Diana= s death in 1997.

For instance, I suddenly felt I had to go to Luxor in May 1992. Princess Diana, too, made a spur of the moment decision to go to Egypt the very same week. I did not see her. I saw only omens of her coming death. And her death linked strongly to Egypt.

The parallels between the sacrifice of a Queen 3350 years ago and the sacrifice of the woman in 1997 who should have been Queen are so clear.  Is it just chance, that the very same Sentinel of Eternity, a true Rock of Ages, witnessed the final journey of both women?

So Mary Magdalen was sent to tell us the story of Christ.  A few months later Ankhsoun pa Aten was sent  to tell us the story of Akhenaten.  And both women's coming was very precisely timed in a way that we did not comprehend for five years.   Why were they sent?  But there is another question.  Why have there been  so many cross-linkages between Christ and Akhenaten through our research over the last nineteen years? So many times, strange coincidences have brought to our attention intricate connections between these two men. Perhaps part of the answer lies in the events  of perhaps the most remarkable juxtaposition which occurred on 17th November 1991. Again, it happened in Paris, in the Church of the Madeleine.
